Now I Have A Confession ...

THE SUIT ...

THE JUMPER ...

THE DRESS ...

KUDOS @ YSL Resort '09 Collection, it's full of class, simplicity and feminism. These other designers need to take notes from the upper echelon of fashion because they know how to keep it cute. [click link for more images]

As always, Stefano Pilati [new head honcho @ Yves St. Laurent] makes it just a bit difficult to mimic, then lures us in with these revamped cuts and patterns on vintage pieces like the jumper, the suit and the dress. This resort line definitely deserves a few head shakes, because clearly there are absolutely no words to describe such a collection so beautiful. *repeated head shakes followed by deep breathing*

What's Her Secret?

I don't know about you, but Naomi seems to never age and she's so C.O.C.A from cover to cover. I'm starting to think the potion from the movie, Death Becomes Her is real, lol. Naomi might have a secret behind her ageless beauty - PLEASE DON'T HOLD OUT.

She's as shiny on the cover of Numero 98 - Magnetique issue as the Yves Saint Laurent high-waisted trousers she's wearing and I've informed you all about her being Stefano Pilati's muse for the YSL ads this season ... she's bound by contract to wear these costume getups. Regardless, she's about the only chick who can pull these off, lol.

To be or Not to be Pimped by Fashion?

Recently, Italian designer/Creative Director of Yves Saint Laurent, Stefano Pilati commented on why Black models have less success within the fashion industry: BEFORE -“To me, it is a matter of proportions and the bodies I choose. My fit model was a black model. When I wanted to translate what I put on her, it was a disaster. It would need 13 times more work in the atelier to modify it to put on a more Caucasian anatomy. Sometimes, it’s not your choice. You can’t find “black models” that are beautiful and with the right proportions. I prefer them with lean proportions with no big hips."
NOW - Stefano glorifies Naomi in the August issue of i-D Magazine as the perfect body and muse for YSL's autumn ad campaign ... perfect example of desperate times, call for desperate measures, huh, Mr. Pilati?

Needless to say, Naomi I hope you're milking his ass because they're definitely going to profit off you babes, especially with these images ... she's 38 and still killing the game!
