C.O.C.A Stylist: Edward Enninful

Born in Ghana, Edward Enninful began his degree of higher learning while attending Goldsmith's College, University of London. Insatiable to his passion for the fashion industry, at age 18 he was appointed the 'youngest fashion director' of i-D magazine. Talk about a historical moment in fashion - Enninful didn't stop there, soon he snagged the titles as Contributing Fashion Editor of Italian and L'uomo Vogue and Fashion Editor-at-Large of Japanese Vogue while holding his remaing title of 14 years as Fashion Editor-at-Large for i-D magazine.

Enninful's (represented by Maximfma.com) courageous and keen sense of style matured his skills to become a prolific stylist making a buzz on both a national and international wave from fashion covers to haute couture ad campaigns. He has also worked with some of the industry's creme de la creme of photographers such as: Paolo Roversi, Craig McDean, Steven Klein and Philip Lorca Di Corcia.

Edward Enniful is the TRUTH on so many levels! If you're planning a career as a stylist or you're an emerging artist - this name should inspire you to do the inevitable when it comes to pursuing your dreams ... acknowledge his greatness for you one day be him.

To be or Not to be Pimped by Fashion?

Recently, Italian designer/Creative Director of Yves Saint Laurent, Stefano Pilati commented on why Black models have less success within the fashion industry: BEFORE -“To me, it is a matter of proportions and the bodies I choose. My fit model was a black model. When I wanted to translate what I put on her, it was a disaster. It would need 13 times more work in the atelier to modify it to put on a more Caucasian anatomy. Sometimes, it’s not your choice. You can’t find “black models” that are beautiful and with the right proportions. I prefer them with lean proportions with no big hips."
NOW - Stefano glorifies Naomi in the August issue of i-D Magazine as the perfect body and muse for YSL's autumn ad campaign ... perfect example of desperate times, call for desperate measures, huh, Mr. Pilati?

Needless to say, Naomi I hope you're milking his ass because they're definitely going to profit off you babes, especially with these images ... she's 38 and still killing the game!
