Sneak Peek: Nike Air Force 1 Low - Black History Month '09

Nike recently held a "silent" auction at their Chicago headquarters where about 30 something pairs of these '09 Black History Air Force's were auctioned off to Chicago's most elite shoe collectors. As usual the proceeds from this year's auction were given to charity & the event represented Black History in a honorable way with well represented live spoken word & poetry. A big improvement from last year's edition the '09 Black History air force has 44 stars on the tongue and heel to pay homage to our 44th President, Barak Obama. These maybe even one of the best released Air Force Low's to date. These COC'd out forces have a laser etched “100″ on the outside around the swoosh and the tongue. Also more of an improvement is the metallic silver ice sole, the red and green stitching and the green bottom eyelet and piping around the tongue. These come with a black history month supreme court silver hang tag and black satin bag. Unreleased and silent auction sold only in the U.S. About a couple hundred pairs of these exist and a couple are currently up for auction now on ebay.
