THE LATINO MARKET
As the minority slowly become the Majority in the US, Latinos are leading the pack when its comes to Buying power. This is useful info to advertisers, store owners and designers because its represent the "O" in a SWOT analysis( SWOT analysis is a strategic planning method used to evaluate the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats).
To address the expanding population of Hispanic and Latin American consumers in the U.S., the MAGIC trade show will launch a new marketplace called MAGIA in Feb. 2009.
The new area will be located in a 25,000-square-foot space in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, alongside MAGIC’S Licensing and Sourcing exhibitions.
The show will feature brands from companies including Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, Ecuador, Paraguay and Columbia, and has been endorsed by The U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. MAGIA, which means “magic” in Spanish, will also feature a dedicated seminar series.
