Ajuma Nasenyana is a supermodel from Lodwar, Turkana District, Kenya. In 2003, Nasenyana entered the Miss Tourism Kenya competition where she was crowned Miss Nairobi 2003. Much rave reviews indeed caught the attention of Lyndsey McIntyre of Surazuri modeling agency, who believed in Nasenyana's potential to go international.
As they say good news travels fast and it did, Nasenyana immediately grabbed the attention of the representatives of the Ford Models Supermodel of the World Competition - later travelling to Europe to improve her portfolio as in waiting for the finals and booked gigs with top agencies throughout Spain, Italy, Austria and Sweden - clearly a no-brainer, Nasenyana made history as the 1st Black model to win a contract worth $50,000.
Nasenyana is the truth! I fell in love with her strong assets the minute I saw her walk for an Alexander McQueen show and later as a Vickie Secret model ... she's a beast in front of the lens and so graceful on the runway! Get in ladies!!!!
