MODELS-N-THE-MORNING: PIERRE WOODS

Suffering from fashion insomnia (low-key) while doing some research on www.style.com and I run across this beautiful being posted on an ad for Ralph Lauren, not to mention he left me speechless! So, as any C.O.C.A Style Mami with great taste would do (and a degree in male model stalking) ... I searched until I found him.

SURPRISE ... SURPRISE ...

Meet Pierre Woods, a native of Galesburg, IL now residing in NYC working for New York Model Management.

Before modeling for Ralph Lauren, Dolce & Gabbana, Ferragamo and other designers, Woods moved to Chicago after high school on an athletic scholarship which he received a bachelor’s degree in marketing with a minor in economics from Illinois State University, 2004.

According to an interview with www.blindie.com, a source close to the Pierre coins him as the next you know who, “He’s the next Tyson Beckford.”

Modest at its best, but no stranger to Beckford's work, Pierre is focused on trying to stay level-headed. “To see yourself in an advertisement while you are walking down the street is kind of breathtaking,” the 26-year-old stunner recently said. “And it’s rewarding to know that you are being a part of something that’s above yourself. It’s something the entire country is sharing.” Pierre Woods is definitely C.O.C.A!
