Iconography of Classicism: Wallabee Clarks

Clearly it's tilting towards 4am and I'm up bangin' one of the dopest lyrical masterpieces of the 90s - Ghostface Killah featuring Raekwon & Cappadonna - IRONMAN (sigh) ... pure hauteness!

Now, the entire album is iconic without question, but I repeatedly played all of my favs: Wildflower, Camay, 260 (Yo, the nigga whole style is chump), Fish, Motherless Child, All That I Got Is You (Mary killed it!), The Soul Controller, Daytona 500 and my ultimate fav ... Winter Warz (muah) pure genius. It immediately took me down the memory lane of fashion, but above all the stylish B-boy/B-girl trends I couldn't stop thinking about how much of a fiend for Wallabee Clarks my brothers and I maintained to remain during those times.

My true
Wu lovers and Wallabee heads know exactly what I'm talking about, and with that, I dedicate this posting to the ill artwork of Ghost's IRONMAN album cover and the classic that is Wallabee Clarks ... definitely C.O.C.A STYLE Certified!!!

Yo, shout out to Lanre (Chairman of the Board) for dusting off his wallys and premiering them at the AKIRA Chicago fashion show ... you and Jay-Z inspired this posting as well. It's about that time to cop some before the hawk shows up.

Check Jay out giving props to 'Ol Skool Wallabees' during the Westwood interview @ the Glastonbury 2008 Festival.

I love me some Wallabees! Too bad people are not familiar with them nowadays.
