DARKIE CLOTHING has made a major mark in 'street fashion' throughout South Africa and according to designer/founder, Themba Mngomezulu (A drop-out B-Com student, introduced to the fashion world through his mother who sold used clothing), "Darkie combines style and culture with a flair for originality, innovation and quality," explained Themba.If this label sounds new to you, don't be fooled, Themba launched Darkie Clothing in 2002, the label's styledom has grown rapid with appearances in ELLE Magazine, South Africa; and runway recognition at the Cape Town Fashion Week this past August.
