A while back I did a posting on PublicSchoolNYC , a clothing company created by two former Sean John employees: Dao Yi Chow and Max Osbourne. For those that don't know: Dao was the creative director for Sean John that helped transform the brand from a celebrity start-up to a full on lifestyle brand. It was during his tenure that the company was nominated for the CFDA’s Best Menswear Designer award for four consecutive years, eventually taking home the coveted title in 2004.
