Sasha Fierce becomes a clothing line ...

WWD REPORTS: The collection, Tina said, is “edgier and trendier and reflects Sasha Fierce’s daring and outgoing attitude.”

The jewelry, shoes and eyewear, she added, “are really over the top” with large chains made in mixed metals such as silver with gold, heavily studded shoes and oversize sunglasses such as the ones Beyoncé has been seen wearing on tour. The clothes are a little more subdued to make the accessories stand out — a one-shoulder dress, black bodysuit, fake leather jacket with oversize collar, leggings and destructed jeans with mesh and lace details lining the ripped material.

International Swagger: The Samburu Project

Public Library [As seen stylishly supported by Beyonce in the HOPE tee] joins the international scene as they work to provide clean drinking water and community empowerment to the families of the Samburu District, Kenya through their partnership with non-profit organization, The Samburu Project. Taking a humanitarian approach on fashion and design, the quirky junior’s label has launched a limited edition collection of fashion forward knit tops in an effort to raise awareness and funds for the water crisis in this north central region of Kenya. With product just hitting the hottest boutiques in February 2009 the buzz surrounding The Samburu Project is reaching a fever pitch.

Celebrity support has been extensive with several influential celebs rocking knit tops from the Samburu Project collection. Actresses Jessica Alba, AnnaLynne McCord, Audrina Patridge and Stacy Keibler have all been spotted wearing Public Library’s emblematic ‘We are One’ style; while the ever-stylish Beyonce has been seen wearing Public Library’s bold cuffed dolman, “Samburu Hope’ while jet setting from LA to NY. Actress Kristen Bell has also been showing her support, wearing the ‘Samburu Hope’ style while shopping in LA.

Already, Public Library has been able to financially show its support for the cause with its first capsule collection receiving extensive retail support at a plethora of boutiques, specialty and better department stores nationwide (MSRP $50-$60). Kosinski is thrilled with the Spring collection stating that, “I have taken the last three years to create a solid foundation for over 20,000 men, women and children in Samburu, Kenya and Public Library is helping us take this cause to new heights. Through Public Library’s collection we are giving consumers an opportunity to get involved and support the cause and I couldn’t be more pleased with their ability to capture the essence of The Samburu Project through their Public Library collection.”

C.O.C.A Style Video: D-I-V-A

WTF? Miss B aka Sasha Fierce has definitely been drinking from the R-O-C goblet. I see a bit of every element throughout this video which makes up a true D-I-V-A. She's sassy, classy, hood aka Niecey, independent, cocky, self-assured, redefined, too damn stylish and Miss Thing is definitely feelin' some kinda way hunnie bunnie ... I'm getting my life too hard from this video!

I'm a sucka 4 Gag Reels

Beyonce's fav style icons: “Charlize Theron is always beautiful and feminine. I love her couture looks and dramatic silhouette. Halle Berry is elegant and sophisticated. I love that in the seventies Cher and Diana Ross looked like superstars and never played it safe. When they were onstage, they gave you drama—and I love drama.”

Designers she heart: “Alexander McQueen and Jean Paul Gaultier are two designers I love right now. Their clothes are feminine, sexy and modern. I just went to the Giuseppe Zanotti showroom, and he had the most spectacular shoes. It was like being in a candy store—I was obsessed with every shoe! Right now, I love anything with a high platform.”
